About the Inspector
Thomas M. (Tom) Perrin is an engineer for the U.S. Space Program. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Military Academy and a Master’s Degree in systems engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is a career Army officer, and served 30 years in the active Army and Army Reserves.
After nearly two decades working in the U.S. space program, Tom launched Rocketman Home Inspections (RHI) as a service for home buyers and home sellers. In addition to completing an extensive home inspection training program, he has four years experience in residential construction, and over 27 years experience in home maintenance. He has passed the comprehensive National Home Inspectors Exam and the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) Standards of Practice & Ethics Exam required by the State of Alabama. He is licensed by the State of Alabama, Madison County, and the City of Huntsville. He is certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI). He adheres to the established InterNACHI standards for home inspection, and the InterNACHI Code of Ethics.
